We founded Game Point Capital in 2018. As business-minded sports fans, we recognized that sports organizations are exposed to unique financial risks that were not addressed by existing capital markets.
Management Team
We teamed up to combine our complementary skillsets in finance, risk management, and analytics with a goal of improving the efficiency and financial health of our shared passion: sports.
Will Hall
Co-Founder, CEO
Prior to founding Game Point, Will was an Investment Analyst for a US-based hedge fund with over $600 million in assets under management, where he specialized in identifying and valuing investment opportunities using in-depth research and quantitative financial modeling. From 2015 to 2017, he helped establish the fund’s European office in Oxford, England.
Will earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Washington & Lee University, where he was captain of the men’s tennis team. Much to the delight of his wife, Kaelin, he can now justify obsessively watching sports as “work research.”

Jack Hall
Co-Founder, COO
Jack began his career working for a sports finance firm in London structuring risk management products for Premier League soccer clubs. Here, he found an industry where he could combine his risk management skillset and probabilistic thinking with his love of sports.
Jack graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Risk Management, International Business, and Economics. A rabid Dawgs fan, he believes that fall Saturdays are the best 12 days of the year.

Dan Shedd, PHD
Head of Quantitative Analysis
In addition to his role with Game Point, Dan is a biomechanics researcher focused on sports and military injury at the University of Virginia’s Center for Applied Biomechanics. He previously worked as an independent engineering consultant, and is proficient in quantitative analysis, code development, and design.
Dan earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester. As a die-hard supporter of all Boston-based pro teams, he has enjoyed his fair share of championship parades.
